Level 2 gym instructor Course –

Pre Requisites: Learners must be 16 years or above
YMCA Credits: 21
Duration: 6 Weeks
Day 1 Introduction to the gym, working in a gym environment
Day 2 How to instruct
Day 3 How to prepare a gym session
Day 4 Customised exercise programme instruction
Day 5 Continuous assessment, theory assessments
Day 6 Practical Exam Day
Please note: To become a Level 3 Personal Trainer you will need this Level 2 qualification.
Breakdown:
Assessment: 1 Practical exam, 1 multiple choice exam, 1 online multiple choice assessment, ongoing continuous practical assessments throughout the course.
Location: Home learning, theory and practical sessions at Rare Fitness Braintree
Tutor: Gracie Cocksedge
Cost: £900
If you require monthly payment scheme of 3 payments of £325, final payment must be made before the final practical exam day.
You Will Learn To:
Safely use all gym equipment
Instruct others how to use gym equipment
Health and safety in the gym environment
Effectively use and instruct free weights and resistance equipment
Perform a warmup and cooldown
Conduct body weight exercises
Demonstrate suitable etiquette in a gym environment
